Centralia, IL - October 29, 2011, Centralia will hold its Annual Fall Festival and Halloween Parade. The Fall Festival is located in downtown Centralia and will begin at 9 am. It features a Craft Fair and Flea Market at Centralia Recreation Complex, free children’s games and activities, a chili cook-off, car show, local entertainment and of course delicious food. At 1:00 pm will be the Children’s Halloween Parade, where children of all ages can dress in their Halloween costumes and walk in the parade. Judging for the costume contest starts promptly at 12:30 pm at Centralia Public Library Park located at 515 E. Broadway. The 84th Annual Halloween Parade will begin at 7pm and follow the Poplar Street Route. Come and enjoy the marching bands, floats and many more attractions! Awards for the float and marching band winners is held immediately after the parade at Carillon Park, located at 114 N. Elm. We encourage everyone to attend to see if their favorite band and float won.
